Press Analyser

The Huxley Bertram Press Analyser uses instrumented punches to measure the load and displacement of punches running in a production press. Position measurements are referenced to the die thus eliminating inaccuracy due to press elasticity.
This outputs wirelessly the true process information for tablet compaction. Uniquely, this captures the effect of press elasticity at true loading conditions and gives strain rate information for compression and decompression. Values recorded by the Press Analyser can be programmed into the Compaction Simulator for improved simulation, and can also be used to verify and calibrate the press instrumentation.
